Colin Allbrook is one of the most respected and renowned painters in the South-West of England. Working in both oils and watercolours, Colin's work depicts the life and activity of the area. Colin is a highly successful artist who uses light and colour to produce paintings with a beautiful tranquil atmospheric quality. His work is regularly selected for prestigious exhibitions such as the Sunday Times Watercolour competition and the Royal Institute of Painters in Oils.

He is an elected member of the Royal institute of Painters in Watercolour, the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Society of Equestrian Artists.

Atmospheric Landscapes

Creating Atmospheric Autumn Landscapes in watercolour is a three day watercolour course aimed at students who wish to develop a sense of light and atmosphere in their work. Colin will demonstrate how to achieve ‘ambience’ within a painting through the use of body-colour, limited palette and tinted paper. 

This course offers a fantastic opportunity for students who wish to learn new techniques and the principles of professional practise. Colin is a friendly tutor who teaches through a series of demonstration-led workshops and one-to-one tuition thereafter.
