Tony has been a professional artist for more than thirty years, moving to his present studio on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border some three years ago. Over the years Tony has had his work accepted at many galleries throughout the Midlands, Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and R.B.S.A.
Tony was awarded the Derbyshire Trophy for ‘the most outstanding work submitted’ in the Derbyshire Open Painting Competition 2005, and the Caran D’Ache award organised by the Artist Magazine in 2008. Tony achieved first place and joint second place at the 2010 Staffordshire Moorlands Open Art Exhibition and was awarded the Derbyshire Oil Painting prize in 2010 for "All the fun of the fair".
